Evren is a guest performer with the Hutchins Consort, a string octet, who commissioned composer Frederick Charlton to write a piece including Native American flute. The work, "Night Journey," debuted at the Neurosciences Institute in La Jolla, CA, and was performed again at the Barclay Theatre, University of California, Irvine.

Evren peforms at the Newport Film Festival where his music is heard on two separate independent films screening at the same time: California Sea Lions, by Rio Films; and NIHI, by Aloha Films, winner of "Best Documentary" at the Malibu Film Festival and the CA Independent Film Festival, and "Best Native American Documentary: at the Big Bear International Film Festival.
